How to Play Hot Lotto - Jackpots Start at a Million
Select 5 out of 39 numbers from the white balls. Then select 1 out of 19 numbers for the orange "Hot Ball."
You may use a play slip to select your numbers or ask for an "EASY PICK " from the clerk and the computer will select the numbers for you. If you make a mistake on the playslip, mark the "Void" box and select your numbers on the next panel.
Each play is $1.00 and each panel is a separate play. Don't forget to add the Hot Lotto Sizzler option for only $1.00 extra.
Hot Lotto Sizzler is a special feature that allows a winner to automatically triple their prize (does not include the jackpot). A player must choose the Hot Lotto Sizzler option when they purchase their ticket. Hot Lotto Sizzler costs an additional $1.00 per play.
Play more than one drawing by marking the "MULTI-DRAW" box on the play slip for 2, 3, 4, 5 or up to 10 consecutive drawings or just ask the clerk for "MULTI-DRAW."
Tickets may be purchased until 8:59 p.m. the evening of the drawing. Drawings are held on Wednesday and Saturday.
Prize Payout
There are nine ways to win! The Jackpot - won by matching all five white balls in any order and the orange "Hot Ball" - is available as an annuity paid over 24 years (25 payments) or as a lump sum payment.
The overall odds of winning are 1 in 16.09 for each $1 played and are rounded to two decimal places.
